Elemental Hues grew out of my love of dyeing. I have used it in Art quilts and hope that many of the wonderful artists I have met over the years will find it a good addition to their work. 

The concept of elements came from the desire to have other fabrics that would go with the hand-dyes. Each element is made up of one yellow, one blue and one red. It produces a wide array of colors so there are solids, textured and other hand-dyes that will work with each other. 

Our fabric is dyed in 1 meter pieces. When dyeing, the fabric shrinks, but since a meter is just over 39", the fabric is always over a yard.  It is always washed multiple times and ironed but never trimmed. I believe that you may just need that tiny bit more and I would much rather you have it than the land fill.
